Good Afternoon Choir Harbor-Tickets are now on sale for "A Harbor Story" - February 23 and 24 at 7pm - LMS Auditorium. Please click here to be directed to the LMS Revtrak page. Or, go to the LMS SCHOOL website, click on "Pay Student fees," then click on "Activities and Clubs." There, you'll have an opportunity to choose from Feb 23 Adult, Feb 23 Child, Feb 24 Adult, or Feb 24 Child.
The purpose of our February Concert/Fundraiser is two-fold: to grow in understanding of the process of music composition and to raise money to continue building our instrumentarium and music library. Last year we were able to purchase three acoustic guitars, a drum set, an electric guitar, and the talents of educators Ed Contreras and Paul Cribari during our Choir Overnight.
Last year, tickets sold out in less than a week so purchase yours today!
REMEMBER...
Families whose children are in the following Choir Classes should purchase their tickets for the Feb 23rd show:
Tickets are $10/adult and $5/children. (Children 3 and under are free and will need to sit on a lap).
Make-A-Wish - A month ago, I was approached by a wish-granter from the Make-A-Wish foundation about raising money on behalf of a wish recipient...the same wish-granter that sponsored my daughter's wish. Two years ago, my daughter, Sawyer, was offered a wish - creating a moment of kindness and hope amidst the hospital stays and IV's. After talking with Mrs. V, we'd like to donate a portion of the proceeds from our Harbor Story Concert on behalf of a Make-A-Wish wish-recipient. There will be more information to follow, including on whose behalf we'll be donating, and what you can do to get involved.
Please call or email if you have any questions. Thank you for your support of the Harbor, music at LMS, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We're very excited for this concert!
Respectfully,
Profe Brian Gonzales
