Good Evening Choir Family!
Our “Pops in the Harbor - Lovin the 80’s” Choir Concert is a little under three weeks away. Each choir class has been tasked with creating a live version of a “music video,” combining singing, acting, and dance to honor pop music from the 80’s. A live band will accompany all music acts and it is sure to be an unforgettable performance!
In addition, student solo acts, selected by a panel of professional musicians, will have the opportunity to perform live on stage. While there were many 80’s songs and 80’s genres to choose from, students voted on songs that were both recognizable and connectable to their lives.
General Admission tickets are now available through Revtrak in a first-come-first-serve format for both nights: February 25 at 6pm, and February 26 at 7pm. (Click here to be taken directly to the revtrak site). There are approximately 300 free tickets available for each night and we are expecting a full house each evening, so get yours quickly.
Also, as we continue to build our classroom instrumentarium, you’ll find on Revtrak a suggested donation box available for optional donations of $5. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support of our program.
On the night of the concert, tables will be setup at the entrance to the auditorium to check in all guests. Please arrive early enough to avoid longer lines, and to secure your seats.
Thank you for joining us for this 80’s extravaganza and supporting of our young musicians!
See you on the 25th & 26th!
Respectfully,
Profe Brian Gonzales
