It was marvelous to see both former and new students on Friday. Every class is a new inspiration and will become a brand new composition. The same child may have been a part of The Harbor their 6th and 7th Grade years, and yet they come back their 8th grade year with new experiences, new friendships, and a lot of different people in their classroom...making the relationship between the students the most dynamic and truly organic part of our music making.
The first day included singing, moving in space, meeting many classmates, striking a gong, and learning the beginning of a local folk dance. We're well on our way...

There is a link on the last page that will take you to the E-Signature page required of every student and their parents. Every student and parent should sign the E-signature page (or a printed off copy of the actual page) by this Friday, Aug 28.

Remind.com allows me to communicate through text or email to Parents and Students regarding concert, rehearsal, and important date reminders.
