The success of our LMS Choir "Harbor" is built around one rule – Know when to blend in and know when to stand out. We take responsible risks, fail, have a blast in the process, and succeed in the learning so that we may rise above the Harbor expectations of professionalism, artistry, respect and passion.
In here, we sing, dance, and play. We listen, explore, improvise, compose, and create. We are not graded or judged by the talent of our voice, but by our own exploration of what we do stand to offer. Learning how to compose, predict, hear, read, analyze, improvise and perform are of great value and lead toward the fulfillment of the “whole” musician. Our LMS Harbor Family fosters the growth of the worldly and holistic student through these same practices of great music making. To subscribe to our calendar:

Meet Profe GonzalesMr. Gonzales is a Colorado native who has taught and directed music for almost 20 years. He's worked with Elementary, Middle, and High School students- including choirs, instrumental groups, musicals, and plays. He received a B.A. in Music and Communications from the University of Tulsa (OK), and a M.M.E. from UNC (Greeley). After graduating from Tulsa, he moved to Nicaragua, where he volunteered at an orphanage and began a music school.
He's a proud husband and father of two girls. In his free time (yeah right), he coaches soccer, camps and travels with his family, pretends to play tennis and ultimate frisbee, really pretends to fly fish, and watches the Broncos. He's grateful for the opportunity to teach the children at LMS. |
